What is CarBravo Certified Used?
CarBravo is GM's certified used vehicle program, replacing the traditional GM Certified Pre-Owned program. It covers vehicles of all makes and models — not just GM brands — and provides two tiers of GM-backed warranty coverage depending on the vehicle's age and mileage.
Can non-GM vehicles be CarBravo certified?
Yes! Unlike the previous GM CPO program, CarBravo certifies vehicles from all manufacturers. Whether it's a Toyota, Ford, Honda, or any other brand, eligible vehicles on our lot can receive CarBravo certification and warranty coverage.
What's the difference between CarBravo and BravoBudget?
CarBravo Certified covers vehicles up to 10 years old with less than 100,000 miles, providing a 12-month/12,000-mile bumper-to-bumper limited warranty. BravoBudget covers vehicles between 10–15 years old and/or 100,000–150,000 miles with a 30-day/1,000-mile powertrain limited warranty.
Where can I get warranty repairs?
You can bring your vehicle back to Spruce Pine Chevrolet or visit any of the more than 4,000 GM dealerships nationwide that service CarBravo vehicles. Courtesy transportation is also provided while your vehicle is being repaired under warranty.
Is there a vehicle exchange policy?
Yes. CarBravo includes a 10-day/500-mile vehicle exchange program. If the vehicle doesn't meet your expectations within that window, you can exchange it for another eligible vehicle. See our team for full details and limitations.
What inspections are performed?
CarBravo Certified vehicles undergo a rigorous 126-point inspection, while BravoBudget vehicles receive a 62-point inspection. Both are conducted by GM Certified Service technicians to ensure quality, safety, and reliability. All safety recalls must be completed before a CarBravo vehicle is listed or sold.
